The Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) recently launched its new vision and mission for 2020. TIP President Dr. Elizabeth Quirino-Lahoz announced that the institute envisions itself to be the leading professional technological institution through outcomes-based education and a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. TIP also sees itself as an institution whose graduates contribute to the welfare of the society.

Dr. Lahoz also expressed TIP’s commitment to continue to empower the Filipino youth through technological education of the highest standard, employing outcomes-based education and state-of-the-art laboratories. TIP is also dedicated to the transformation of its students into graduates with full competence in their fields of study and who also possess Filipino values, industry-desired values, and global citizen values.

TIP’s new vision and mission is the result of the collective ideas gathered from the various TIP stakeholders – top management, officers of academic departments and management and support service groups, faculty members, staff, students, alumni, accredited professional organizations, and industry partners.
