T.I.P. recognizes student achievers for school year 2018-2019

T.I.P. recognized its academic and non-academic student achievers as a way of encouraging its students to continue reaching for their goals with grit and determination.

The Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P) recognized its students’ academic and non-academic achievements for school year 2018-2019 in separate ceremonies held at the T.I.P. Quezon City and T.I.P. Manila campuses on March 5.

T.I.P. awarded certificates of recognition and cash gifts to its five licensure exam topnotchers namely Engr. James Lindo (10th place, Electronics Engineer Licensure Exam), Arch. Marlon Gamilong (8th place, Architecture Licensure Exam), Arch. Ivan Lester Leaño (7th place, Architect Licensure Exam), Engr. Stephen Bolaños (7th place, Civil Engineer Licensure Exam), and Engr. Angelo Marion Conwi (2nd place, Electronics Engineer Licensure Exam).

In a speech, Engr. Conwi recalled the countless times he failed in his subjects and in competitions back when he was studying and how these failures taught him to keep pursuing his goals. He advised younger students to have grit and determination. “Even when hope is bleak; inspiration nowhere to be found, push through because someday, your efforts will bear fruit,” he added.
