The Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.), represented by its Executive Management Committee Head Dr. Cynthia C. Llanes, signed a memorandum of agreement for T.I.P.’s participation in the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) SEA-TVET Teacher and Student Exchange Programs.

The exchange programs aim to enhance institutional internationalization and global competitiveness and employability of graduates. This partnership will benefit T.I.P. faculty members and students in its engineering, computing, business, accountancy, and arts programs.

In 2016, T.I.P. became a signatory of the SEAMEO SEA-Teacher Program, an exchange program for the internship of education students. The SEA-TVET Teacher and Student Exchange Programs will allow international student internship and faculty exchange among academic institutions of the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam starting school year 2020-2021.
