The Engineers started the game slowly, with the Kings leading by six points with four minutes left to the first quarter. However, the Engineers managed to gain ground and ended the opening quarter deadlocked against the Kings, 25-24.

The T.I.P. Engineers started broadening the gap against Alberei in the second quarter ending it 49-44, then continued their aggressiveness in the third quarter to raise their advantage to 15 points, 86-71. The Engineers finally finished the game with a 10-point lead, 105-95.

The two-time T.I.P. Engineers Best Player of the Game Papa Ndiaye, who missed their previous game due to hamstring injury, commented, “It felt great to go out there and play again after my injury. I was so happy to be inside the court again with my brothers. It’s good to be named as the Best Player for the second time.”

“We are preparing well and we are working hard every day to make ourselves better because we know the playoffs will not be easy,” the Senegalese added.

The T.I.P. Engineers’ 105 final score was led by Ndiaye’s 37 points, Bryan Santos’ 28 points, and Ximone Ace Sandagon’s 12 points.

When asked how the team will prepare for the quarterfinals, T.I.P. Engineers Head Coach Potit de Vera stated, “We will be lining up some tune up games to remain sharp as we wait for our quarterfinals game this coming September 16.”
