T.I.P. recognizes student achievers for SY 2016-2017

In awarding ceremonies held at T.I.P. Manila and T.I.P. Quezon City on March 6, 2017, the Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.) recognized its academic and non-academic student achievers from various programs for the school year 2016-2017.

Among those honored were T.I.P.ian board topnotchers, college departments with higher than national passing percentage in board exams, student congress delegates, paper presenters, participants in completed T.I.P. TechnoCoRe projects, and winners of various national and international competitions.

One of the awardees selected to address the audience was Engr. Lenielle B. Amatosa, 5th placer in the November 2016 Civil Engineering Licensure Examination from T.I.P. Manila. In his message, Engr. Amatosa shared pieces of advice to schoolmates who will also take the board exam in the future.“Study hard and keep practicing, be strong, endure all challenges and most of all, keep your faith in God,” he said.

Engr. Emmanuel Lasam, 8th placer in the April 2016 Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination spoke on behalf of his fellow T.I.P. QC board topnotchers, Engr. Bernie Bueno (7th placer, March 2016 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination), Engr. Rexel Van Miguel Malaluan (5th placer, April 2016 Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination), and Ar. Gerald Bermido (9th placer, January 2017 Architecture Licensure Examination). Engr. Lasam explained, “We may have different stories, but we have similar goals. Continue to master your craft. Strive and be the best that you can be.”

Also present to deliver their messages were academic and non-academic achievers Mark Jared Van Ocampo, T.I.P. Manila’s official delegate to the 19th Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC), Joshua Danniel D.P. Santos, T.I.P. QC’s delegate to the 6th ARC Young Leaders Camp, and Andrea Jane T. Urquiola, First Runner-up in the 14th Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) National Student Congress also from T.I.P. QC.

T.I.P.’s newest batch of achievers proves that grit and determination are core values essential to one’s success. By celebrating the milestones of these achievers, the school hopes to inspire T.I.P. students to keep working hard and doing their best as they pave their paths towards graduating and becoming professionals that will one day play crucial roles in society and the nation as a whole.
