T.I.P. holds Commencement Exercises for 2017

More than 2,500 graduates of the Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.) Manila and Quezon City recently attended the 2017 T.I.P. Commencement Exercises held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on April 10, 2017.

Gracing the graduation ceremonies was this year’s commencement speaker, Sultan Engr. Ashary P. Maongco, member of the Board of Directors of PNOC Renewables Corporation, current general manager of Maguindanao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MAGELCO), and proud alumnus of T.I.P.

In his message to the T.I.P. graduates, Sultan Engr. Maongco advised the graduates to prepare well for their board examinations and not give up should they fail the first time. He also encouraged them to keep on learning and enriching themselves intellectually, emphasizing that continuing their studies will open new doors and opportunities for them.

“The fight is not yet over. In fact, the journey has just started,” Sultan Engr. Maongco addressed the graduates. “Make this day your turning point. Appreciate the beauty of the world. Always be prepared. Never lose hope and never give up,” he added.

The 55th T.I.P. Manila Commencement Exercises and the 32nd T.I.P. Quezon City Commencement Exercises were highlighted by the traditional graduation march and the graduates’ individual walks on stage as they received their awards and diplomas. Both ceremonies were also broadcasted live on the official T.I.P. Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TIP1962official/) for the very first time.
