T.I.P. Choral Society is Musica FEUropa 9’s 1st Runner-up

The Technological Institute of the Philippines Choral Society (T.I.P.CS), T.I.P.’s official choral group, was awarded 1st Runner-up in Far Eastern University’s (FEU) annual national choral competition, FEUropa 9. The competition was held at the FEU Chapel on May 20, 2017.

This year, the T.I.P.CS competed against 9 other choral groups nationwide, namely Chorus Vocales Philippines, Bulacan Bel Canto Singers, University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) Chorale, Immaculate Conception Parish (ICP) Charismatic Chorale, Mapua Cardinal Singers, Himig Batingaw Choir, Gloria Patri Singers, Koro Ilustrado, and Surigao State College Chorale. Each choir sang one Filipino and one European song. The T.I.P. CS sang Ay-ayamko by Joy Nilo and Alleluja by Joszef Karai.

Taking 2nd Runner-up in Musica FEUropa 9 was Chorus Vocales Philippines, followed by 1st Runner-up, T.I.P. Choral Society (last year’s 2nd Runner-up), and Koro Ilustrado, this year’s Champion.
